US attacks Cuba’s economy with sanctions on banking entities

Washington, Jul 30 (Prensa Latina) The United States has once again attacked Cuba’s economy by ratifying sanctions against Havin Bank.

The announcement was made by the US Treasury Department on its website, posting the agency is listed on special designations of the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Havin Bank has been operating since August 1973 and its main shareholder is the Banco Central de Cuba.

With a privileged location in London, the bank has a network of 400 correspondents worldwide.
