Havana, March 11 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on Wednesday described the United States as the greatest aggressor of human rights on the planet, and rejected a recent report by that country against China, Iran, Venezuela and Cuba.
The document presented on Wednesday by the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, pointed out those nations, among which Nicaragua is also mentioned, all of them opposed to the US hegemonic policies, as the main responsible for human rights violations.
The United States is not interested in Human Rights (HR) in Cuba. Its policy is to wipe out the livelihoods of 11 million Cubans in order to impose a government that responds to their interests, the Cuban foreign minister posted on Twitter.
He also noted that despite the blockade imposed by this power, the island will continue to be committed to the promotion and protection of all human rights for all.
He denounced that the report presented by Pompeo lacks credibility, and ignores, once again, the atrocious human rights violations in the world to attack – for political purposes – governments that do not submit to their designs and defend their peoples.
