Serbia, Cuba for further cooperation in education and science

Belgrade, Mar 8 (Prensa Latina) Serbia and Cuba highlighted on Monday the positive state of the bilateral relations and agreed that this is a good basis for greater exchange in education and science.

First Vice President of the Serbian Government and Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Branko Ruzic and Cuban Ambassador Gustavo Trista del Todo expressed this disposition and spoke out for the use of the existing potentialities.

The senior official received the Cuban ambassador at the headquarters of that Ministry and during those talks, they analyzed the links between the two countries and possible areas to promote them.

Ruzic informed that the Serbian side will shortly present a concrete proposal for collaboration to the Cuban side, which will give continuity to the agreement signed in 2010.

Trista del Todo offered his host details about the Cuban reseaches that allowed them to work on five Covid-19 vaccine candidates, as part of the actions to fight the pandemic.
