Belgrade, May 3 (Prensa Latina) Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and China’s Ambassador to this country Chen Bo underlined on Monday the exceptional dynamism in cooperation between the two countries, based on mutual trust and respect.
On his Twitter account, the president described the talks with the diplomat as good and substantial and said they addressed issues of strategic cooperation between the two countries, as well as new infrastructure projects.
An official note from the presidential press office highlighted that another issue is Chinese President Xi Jinping’s upcoming visit to Serbia, when the Covid-19-related conditions allow it, with the certainty that the visit will confirm the strength of friendship and mutual respect by the two states.
The basis of that fraternity is in the consequent respect for Serbia’s territorial integrity and the ‘One China’ policy, as well as the fight to preserve the principles of international law, which is fundamental to maintain global stability, Vucic said.
For her part, the ambassador asserted that these exceptional relations will have an even greater intensity, due to both countries’ decision to continue together the fight against the disease, as well as the infrastructural and economic interconnection through large initiatives and projects.
