Dakar, Mar 11 (Prensa Latina) Executives from the Education Ministries of Senegal and Cuba evaluated possibilities of cooperation in this sector and reaffirmed the will to sign a collaboration agreement, diplomatic sources informed on Thursday.
The Cuban Embassy informed that at the second virtual technical meeting, the officials from the two countries also exchanged experiences on teachers’ training and strategies of comprehensive attention to the so-called early childhood.
They also discussed the implementation of new communications technologies in educational platforms, the source said.
At the first meeting between the two governments, they discussed literacy programs, with emphasis on the possibilities of implementing in Senegal the Cuban method Yo, sí puedo (Yes, I can).
At the end of the meeting, the two parties described as profitable both meetings, which allowed them to share experiences and identify areas of cooperation for the benefit of the educational systems of Senegal and Cuba.
