Rockford airport surveying public about flight service to Havana, Cuba


ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – The Chicago Rockford International Airport is asking the public to participate in a survey to find out whether travelers would want to fly to Cuba from Rockford.

The Rockford Airport says an airline is interested in the possibility of starting a twice a week service to Havana, Cuba.

In December 2014, the United States announced major policy changes making it easier for Americans to travel to Cuba.
