RICHMOND — A pair of documentaries by Cuban filmmaker Gloria Rolando will be presented at 6 p.m. June 13 at the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts, 339 11th St. at Macdonald Avenue.

“Reembarque/Reshipment” (2014) recounts the story of early 20th century Haitian immigrants to Cuba.

“Eyes of the Rainbow” (1997) is about Black Panther Party and Black Liberation Army leader Assata Shakur, a fugitive who took refuge in Cuba from the United States in 1984 and received political asylum.

The screening is presented by the committee representing Richmond’s sister city relationship with Regla, Cuba.
