Caracas, Feb 23 (Prensa Latina) Revolutionary forces, peace movements and popular sectors of Venezuela are mobilizing this Saturday in support of peace and self-determination of the nation amid the pressures of the opposition to force a humanitarian channel.
President Nicolas Maduro called on the Venezuelan people to take to the streets in all the states of the country on this day, set by the self-proclaimed president in charge, Juan Guaido, to enter shipments of supposed aid gathered in Colombia, Brazil and Curacao.
‘Here in Caracas we will have a great popular mobilization in the street defending the right to peace, to sovereignty and to union with other countries’, said the president last February 21.
For his part, the leader of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela in the capital, Nahúm Fernández, reiterated that for this Venezuelan day they are summoned to the Great March in Defense of the Homeland of Bolívar and Chávez.
According to Fernandez, the mobilization in support of President Maduro will begin from the headquarters of the Venezuelan state telecommunications company, Cantv, on Libertador Avenue to the Miraflores Palace, the seat of government.
