Raul Receives UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova

HAVANA, Cuba, Sept 18 (acn) Army General Raul Castro, President of the councils of State and Ministers, received Irina Bokova, Director General of the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO), who is on an official visit to the island.

In an atmosphere of cordiality, they spoke about the 3rd Meeting of Culture Ministers of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), under way in Havana, attended by Bokova. Likewise, they spoke about Cuba’s fulfillment of the Post 2015 Development Agenda.

Also participating in the meeting, held on Friday, was Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez.
