Puebla Group to condemn US blockade against Cuba

Havana, Oct 23 (Prensa Latina) The Puebla Group will denounce the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba for more than six decades.

The ‘Cuba: Blockades and Sanctions’ virtual workshop will be attended on Friday by Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez, who will share the country’s experiences in fighting the economic blockade.

Former Brazilian Foreign Minister Celso Amorim, widely known for repeatedly demanding an end to the White House’s coercive measures against Cuba, will participate as a guest.

The workshop will start at 12:00 hours, local time, and can be followed on Facebook Live, the Cuban Foreign Ministry announced on Twitter.

On Thursday, Rodriguez presented Cuba’s report on the damages caused by the US blockade in 2019-2020, which exceeded five billion dollars in 12 months for the first time in nearly 60 years.
