Preparations for the Mass offered by Pope Francis in Havana are progressing as planned, the national press announced.
After 36 days of work in the José Martí Revolution Square, papal podium placement was completed and the platform where the choir and orchestra will be located for the first Mass on September 19. Also they left two spaces reserved for the press and the sacristy.
According to local media, it is expected that the day of the first mass Pope Francis meet with Cuban President Raul Castro.
For their part, Holguin companies prepare Major General Calixto Garcia Revolution Square in the province, where the Pope will make his second Mass on his way to Santiago de Cuba to take the third and last.
