Prensa Latina and Senegalese Agency Sign Cooperation Agreement

Dakar, June 18 (Prensa Latina) The Senegalese Press Agency (APS) and the Latin American News Agency Prensa Latina, have signed on Tuesday a Memorandum of Understanding on Professional Cooperation, according to diplomatic sources.
The agreement was signed in a political act by the APS General Director, Thierno Birahim Fall, and the Cuban Ambassador to Senegal, Saylín Sánchez Portero.

After signing the official letter, both sides expressed their satisfaction with the signing of the memorandum, which, based on a South-South cooperation vision, it will enable the dissemination of objective information from both nations, regions and internationally.

Both sides agreed that the implementation of this agreement will constitute an important support for the fostering strategies of bilateral cooperation, not only in information and communication matters, but also in other sectors in terms of strengthening their bilateral bonds.
