Caracas, Jan 23 (Prensa Latina) A popular mobilization gathered in the Plaza O’Leary, in this capital, marched on Wednesday to the Miraflores Palace to support the legitimate president of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro.
The first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, called on the revolutionary militancy to remain in vigil in front of the seat of the Executive to guarantee the defense of the constitutional order.
‘We all go to the Miraflores Palace to give our support to Nicolás Maduro, and who wants to be president who is with the people,’ said the Socialist leader.
The holder of the National Constituent Assembly also stated that in the hands of the revolutionary forces is the guarantee of continuity of the Bolivarian process and the sovereignty of the South American nation.
Cabello called for the unity of the Venezuelan revolutionaries against the claims of the opposition to return to the country at the time of the VI Republic, marked by four decades of neoliberal and submissive governments
‘Here in Venezuela, the Bolivarian people, the people of (Hugo) Chavez,’ said Cabello, repudiating the interventionist actions of the United States and its allies.
In a march organized on Wednesday by the opposition, the head of the National Assembly (Parliament in contempt), Juan Guaidó, self-proclaimed president in charge, usurping act automatically recognized by the government of Washington.
