Playa Paraiso in Cuba, Among 10 Best Beaches Worldwide

Havana, Mar 22 (Prensa Latina) TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, has just recognized Playa Paraiso (Paradise Beach), in Cayo Largo del Sur (South Key Largo), Cuba, 177 km south-east of Havana, among the 10 best beaches in the world.

This site highlights resorts from America and the Caribbean in its new list of the world’s 10 best beaches, a selection the Caribbean News Digital broadcasts today as one of the most popular tourist destinations nowadays.

That choice appears due to comments and ratings from users of that website, and as part of the 2016 Travellers’ Choice ranking, highlighting six coasts of Latin America and the Caribbean, among the 10 best destinations worldwide.

Playa Paraiso, third, stands out for its sand that looks like flour, and the sea, a swimming pool with clear water, TripAdvisor states.

The website adds that with little infrastructure, there is one word to describe it: quiet, after stating that a double room at an All Inclusive hotel for two people in that place costs $220 USD per night.

Cayo Largo del Sur is located in the south-western Cuban region, close to the Isla de la Juventud (Isle of Youth), an extremely attractive site for tourism.

Anse Lanzio Beach, Praslin island (Seychelles), Cayo de Agua Beach, Los Roques Archipelago (Venezuela), Flamenco Beach, Culebra (Puerto Rico), Ses Illetes Beach, Formentera (Spain), Ngapali Beach (Myanmar), Bahia Oeste Beach (Honduras), and Nacpan Beach, El Nido (Phillipines), rank after the Cuban beach.
