Havana, Jun 15 (Prensa Latina) French beverage firm Pernod Ricard presented in Cuba a new product portfolio for the increasing development of tourism in this island.
The exhibition took place yesterday at Sarao nightclub in this capital, along with Havana Club International S.A. (HCI). It is a mixed company composed since 1993 of Pernod Ricard and CubaRon.
Organizers of the meeting said that presentation will offer an excellence cocktail in bars, restaurants, hotels and store chains of this island, it was officially reported today.
The president of the Cuban Bartenders Association (ACC), Jose Rafa Malem, stressed during that meeting the importance of the event allowing a wider range for the island’s gastronomic tourism.
Among the new beverages to be distributed in Cuba are Absolut Vodka (Citron, Mandrin and Elyx), The Glenlivet 15 and 18 years, and the Royal Salute 21 years.
Pernod Ricard is a French firm producing alcoholic beverages, liquors anise and pastis.
It was founded in 1975 and owns a large number of famous brands worldwide.
