Panama, Jun 21 (Prensa Latina) The first Panama-Holguin flight by Copa Airline departed today at 09:00 hours, local time, from the Tocumen International Airport. Holguin is the third Cuban destination for the Panamanian airline.
Copa will fly, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, to the tourist area in the east of Cuba, where the number of foreign visitors is increasing, due to its cultural, historic, landscape and beach attractions.
This is the only international airline that operates three regular routes to the Cuban archipelago – besides Holguin, the airline has six daily flights to the capital and four weekly flights to Santa Clara, in the central area of the country.
There are other interesting and historic cities very close to Holguin that can be very attractive to the clients that travel on business, a conference or vacation, Copa Executive Lina Maldonado told the news agency Prensa Latina.
Cuba is a surprising country. Thus, Copa is committed to increasing its operations to this wonderful island, asserted Maldonado, who also highlighted the beauty of Cuban beaches.
