The top-notch Morgan State University Choir has traveled extensively around the world for decades. But one country remained elusive — until now.
Thanks to the newly opened lines of travel between the United States and Cuba, the choir, directed by Eric Conway, made its first Cuban tour in late May, a visit arranged by Alexandria, Va.-based Classical Movements Inc.
The tour included concerts, master classes and exchanges with local choirs in Havana, Cienfuegos and Santa Clara. You can watch video of one of the choir’s performances above, and see pictures from the trip below.
