Meeting of the Cuba-Namibia Working Group Ends in Havana

Havana, Feb 13 (Prensa Latina) The 4th Meeting of the Cuba-Namibia Joint Working Group ends on Wednesday in Havana after several days of exchanges.

Collaborative programs in health, construction, sports, education, food industry and others are among teh issues of the meeting, according to information recently released by the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment.

Since early this month, representatives of both countries completed the meeting details , which is held annually alternating its headquarters between the two countries.

According to a report circulated by the Cuban diplomatic delegation in Namibia, the issue was discussed during a meeting between Ambassador Sidenio Acosta and the Deputy Minister of International Cooperation of that African nation, Christine Hoebes.

Namibian part of this exchange body is presided over by the Deputy Foreign Minister while Ileana Nuéz, Vice Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment heads for Cuba.

According to the Embassy report, Acosta and Hoebes exchanged views on the state of excellent bilateral relations and ways to continue strengthening them.
