Havana, Cuba.- Ten giant torches will open in Havana the traditional march every January 27 evokes the birthday of national hero José Martí, and with that singular torn greet the Tenth Congress of the UJC .
To the athletes participating in the Toronto 2015 Pan American Games will they represent the honor of lighting the giant torches.
The initial block the parade will also feature members of the Plenum of the National Committee of the UJC. Arianna Guerra, vice president of the University Students Federation, FEU, reported that this year’s March of the Torches be conducted throughout the country, mainly in the provincial capitals.
About what will happen in Havana meant that after 22:00 (local time), the capital’s parade will start from the University of Havana to the monument to Marti, after due tribute to Julio Antonio Mella.
