International event on nature tourism concludes in Cuba

Cienfuegos, Cuba, Sep 28 (Prensa Latina) The 12th International Event on Nature Tourism (Turnat 2019) concludes on Saturday in this central-southern Cuban city, after successful days of debates, experience sharing and visits to attractive places.

After traveling eight routes, the delegates are satisfied with the contact with Cuban nature and could better appreciate the potentialities of the country for adventure and rural trips.

Hence, Cienfuegos is the venue for TURNAT’s closing ceremony. This important city is very attractive, with stories that participants want to know through their routes and contacts with local people, not only around the mountains, but also in the city itself.

Cienfuegos has a song composed by worldwide-renowned Cuban musician Beny More, who wrote that Cienfuegos is the city that he likes most.

This central Cuban city, known as the Pearl of the South, is 245 kilometers east of Havana and 658 west of Santiago de Cuba, Cuba’s second major city.
