Havana, May 25 (Prensa Latina) The 4th Iberoamerican Meeting and 8th National Allergology Congress, Cuba, Allergy 2015 began today in the Convention Palace in this capital.
The event will touch fundamental issues such as air quality specialty, pharmaceutical advances in treatment of the condition, asthma, rhinitis and ocular allergic diseases.
Chaired by Dr. Emma Fabre, the meeting will allow Latin American and European experts discuss and present their studies in this respect.
The program that will runs until the next 27 and includes lectures and an exhibition fair.
Respiratory allergy, food, medicine, impact of climate change on human health, ans well as the benefits of traditional and complementary medicine in allergic diseases are part of the agenda.
Since last May 20 began the activities related to the event, sponsored by the Cuban Society of Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology.
The most large delegations are those of Mexico, Spain and Colombia, according to the program.
Participants will have an opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge of high scientific level with professionals from other specialties to improve diagnosis, treatment and control of allergic diseases, a major health problem worldwide.
