France Denounces: Trump's Hostility Encourages Attacks on Cuba

Paris, May 1 (Prensa Latina) The solidarity association Cuba Si France denounced today that the aggressiveness of U.S. President Donald Trump is encouraging violent actions such as Thursday’s attack on the island’s embassy in Washington.

We witness that the hate speech of Trump and his gang, and their threats against Cuba, encourage the stupid ones and the anti-Cuban fanatics, who don’t hesitate to take action’, he warned in a statement to which Prensa Latina had access.

The organization, with almost 30 years of work in support of the Cuban Revolution, strongly condemned the terrorist aggression perpetrated by a man armed with an assault rifle, an attack which did not cause human damages, but did affect the facade of the headquarters, which was hit by several projectiles.

This is a serious act that requires clarification by the U.S. authorities and the circumstances of its execution, he specified.

On Thursday morning, an individual identified by the police as Alexander Alazo allegedly shot at the embassy, before being arrested at the scene by agents who responded to warning calls.

Cuba Si France demanded the arrest of all the guilty parties and their prosecution before the courts, and recalled the responsibility of the United States with the protection of diplomatic personnel and headquarters.

It also demanded that the United States authorities take the necessary measures to ensure that such a terrorist act does not happen again.

Washington cannot continue with this position of stirring up tension, and the only way to put an end to it is by lifting the criminal blockade imposed by the empire on the Cuban people for 60 years’, he said.
