Feb 28 (teleSUR) Four shipments with a cargo of food and first necessity items arrived at the La Guaira port in Vargas state, Venezuela, after being sent from Mexico. The shipments will be used to help the communities in the coastal region of the South American Country.
The information was revealed by the Government of Vargas state, Jorge Luis Garcia Carneiro, who explained that these goods will be destined to supply different communities in the 11 municipalities of the coastal state. “We were here last night from 22.00 hours unloading the four boats that came from the Mexican Republic,” stated Governor Carneiro.
“The Government of Vargas and all the team continue working to attend to the people in an integral way. Today in an expanded cabinet, strategies were strengthened to ensure that food reaches each household,” stated the government of the Vargas state on a statement released through their Twitter official account.
Among the items that came to the country are pasta, flour, lentils, milk and other foods. Governor Carneiro defended democratically elected President Nicolas Maduro, for his actions taken to defend the Venezuelan people against interventionist actions by the United States and its allies.
“In spite of the adversities, of the sanctions and imperial blockades, the legitimate Government presided over by Nicolas Maduro makes superhuman efforts to fulfill his people’s necessities,” said Governor Jorge Luis Garcia Carneiro.
“It is essential to strengthen the organization of the People’s Power to be vigilant and control every action that is carried out,” he said.
