Havana, Feb 25 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel highlighted here today, on his Twitter account, the dignity and firmness with which the Venezuelan Bolivarian Revolution faces the United States’ aggressions.
One year after the violent attack by right-wing sectors on the border with Colombia, in an attempt to force the entry of so-called humanitarian aid, which turned out to be supplies to generate terrorist acts, the Cuban leader demanded respect for Venezuelan sovereignty through the label #ManosFueraDeVenezuela (Hands Off Venezuela).
Diaz-Canel, posted on the social network a link to the Granma newspaper that reports on President Nicolas Maduro’s call to the people of his country to celebrate with their families and enjoy carnivals in peace and tranquility.
Happy Monday of Carnival Venezuela! I call you to happiness and to share with our children and young people. It is the beginning of a week of floats, dancing, drums, and the joy of the Venezuelan people. Nothing and nobody will take away our Peace and Happiness,’ tweeted Maduro.
The newspaper describes the great logistic, recreational and security deployment that is carried out in this southern nation to guarantee happy and safe celebrations.
