Cuba’s Edesio Alejandro premieres song for Fathers’ Day

Havana, Jun 18 (Prensa Latina) After a week of international film successes, prominent Cuban musician Edesio Alejandro announces on Thursday the premiere of his new song: ‘Ser Padre’ (Being a Father), a piece of filial love to celebrate Father’s Day.

Edesio Alejandro’s son, Cristian Alejandro, sings the pop ballad with Esequiel Villa, co-author of the piece with Oscander Rodriguez, while Michel Pro mastered and mixed it.

About the production of the video clip accompanying this song, Edesio Alejandro posted on social media that it would have been beautiful to make a different audiovisual, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it was filmed within the studio, and it was directed by Lixuan Licea.

The video clip will be released on Saturday, June 20, in local media and on his YouTube channel on Sunday, June 21, Father’s Day.

Adesio Alejandro is an active member of the Hollywood Film Academy and the Latin Grammy and Grammy Academies, and he is a cultural ambassador of the Latin Music Institute (ILM), about which he is making a documentary to celebrate the organization’s 100th anniversary in 2021.
