Cuban president receives executive president of Central American Bank

Havana, Dec 6 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel received yesterday Dante Mossi, executive president of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI).

According to an official press release, Mossi is visiting Cuba on the occasion of the Dialogue Table for Financing of Development Projects in Cuba, which sessioned for two days in Havana.

The meeting took place in a friendly environment, and the parties agreed to highlight the excellent relations between the island and CABEI, of which Cuba is an extra-regional partner, the source said.

They also highlighted the desire to continue strengthening ties.

Mossi expressed his satisfaction with the meeting and confirmed that CABEI and the Cuban authorities are working on a country strategy that serves as a guide to identify development priorities according to the five-year strategy of the Central American Bank.

Díaz-Canel thanked CABEI for its support in achieving the objectives proposed in the strategy.

Accompanying Mossi were Salvador Sacasa, head of CABEI’s Institutional Relations Office, and CABEI Finance Manager Hernán Danery Alvarado. On the Cuban side, the meeting was attended by Minister-President of the Central Bank of Cuba, Irma Martínez.
