Buenos Aires, Apr 30 (Prensa Latina) The orchestra ”Maykel Blanco y su Salsa Mayor,” cataloged today as the Cuban machine, made dance here the less experienced dancer in a show of excellence and an audience that cheered the musical group to delirium.
The capital’s stage of the ‘Trastienda’ was small for the number of people who attended on Sunday to see the group that shone for its musicians’ charisma, in an evening extended until dawn.
The band, which arrived in the country alongside the company ‘Plus Producciones,’ radiated talent in each of its songs in an encounter with an accomplice audience, who chanted and hummed pieces such as, ‘Popurrit’ and ‘La figura soy yo,’ to cite a few.
In its third presentation in Buenos Aires, the orchestra, led by Blanco since 2004, also performed some songs from its next album, among which is its well-known ‘Chaca Chaca.’
The special moment of the evening was when the musicians invited two dancers and professors from Cuba residents in this city, Adriel Martinez and Enrique Kiki Farres, who showed off their Cuban identity by dancing at the rhythm of the band’s chords and the audience’s palms.
When it was already believed that the show was over, the group had to return to the stage at the request of an audience that, after almost two hours, insistently requested another song.
‘Maykel Blanco y su Salsa Mayor’ arrived in Argentina as part of a tour that took them to Chile and Uruguay.
