Havana, Jan 4 (Prensa Latina) The Helms-Burton Act aims to internationalize the US blockade against Cuba, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs notes this Saturday.
On Twitter, the Cuban Foreign Ministry denounced that Washington employs coercive measures against third countries under that legislation.
The Ministry adds that the goal is to hinder investment and commercial relations with Cuba.
The text emphasizes that Washington intends to submit sovereign States with an Act that supports the economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba.
Last November, the UN General Assembly pronounced overwhelmingly against the US blockade policy against Cuba.
This was the twenty-eighth consecutive occasion on which the international community voted in favor of a resolution demanding the lifting of the US blockade against Cuba.
