Havana, Feb 11 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez described as pleasant his reunion in Havana on Tuesday with New York Archbishop Cardinal Timothy Dolan, who is visiting Cuba.
Cardinal Juan de la Caridad Garcia Rodriguez, Archbishop of Havana, and Bishop Emilio Aranguren, president of the Cuban Conference of Catholic Bishops, attended the meeting, the Foreign Minister explained on Twitter, where he posted a photograph of the meeting.
The visitor met in September 2018 in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, New York, with President Miguel Diaz-Canel, who invited him to Cuba. On that occasion, Rodriguez was present.
As part of his stay here, Dolan toured the almost 300-year-old University of Havana (UH) on Tuesday, where he paid tribute to the remains of Father Felix Varela, the precursor of the Cuban nationality.
