Ciego de Avila, Cuba Dec 27 (Prensa Latina) The rehabilitation of beaches with sand recovering makes it possible for tourist destination of Jardines del Rey (King”s Gardens) to offer today a higher quality product, according to market demand.
The beaches with sand recovering are Las Coloradas and Flamenco, in Coco Key, as well as El Paso in Guillermo Key, for which over 830 thousand cubic meters of sand were used in some eight kilometers of coast.
Those zones are considered among the most important of the northern coast of Ciego de Avila, 430 kilometers east of Havana, because in that zone are located the biggest group of hotels of that Cuban tourist resort.
Led by the Investment Mercantile Society GAMMA, S.A. of the Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment, the program pursues to minimize the effects of climate change and the constructive activity, as well as increasing useful lifespan of hotel facilities.
With the recovery of the bathing areas, to enjoy the sun and beach spaces, the main product of King’s Gardens, which each year receive over 400 thousand visitors from different nations worldwide.
Keys Coco and Guillermo are unique in their constructive infrastructure, consisting of 17 four and five-star hotels and over seven thousand 900 rooms.
