HAVANA, May 29 (NNN-PRENSA LATINA)–Young Men’s Ensemble, a choir from the United States, will perform with Cuban choirs here from June 15 to 21, said today the Cuban Institute of Music.

The cultural center Casa de las Americas will host the first performance by the Young Men’s Ensemble on June 15 along with the Cuban choir Cantoria Coralillo directed by professor Isabel Gutierrez.

Meanwhile, the US choir will be led by director, tenor and singing teacher Steven Kronauer, trained at the Bavarian State Opera, in Munich, Germany, and current president of the choir department at the University of California in Santa Barbara.

Kronauer has been professor at various renowned centers in the United States and Germany, like the University of Munich, and has a PhD at the University of Los Angeles.

The members of Young Men’s Ensemble will give a workshop on June 16 along with the Cuban male-voice choir Camerata Vocal Sine Nomine, a group with a large artistic career, winner of two Cubadisco Prizes.–NNN-PRENSA LATINA
