Havana, Cuba, Jul 8.- The promotion of the comprehensive development of children is the main objective of the 12th International Meeting on Early Childhood and Preschool Education to be held on July 12-14 at Havana’s Convention Center.
According to organizers, this meeting will encourage dialogue between representatives of the disciplines, institutions and social sectors that, in a coordinated and committed way, should guarantee the transit, organization and continuity of infants through the different levels of education.
Standing out among topics to be debated are cultural diversity in the curriculum of early childhood; education and training of educators; and the contribution of family and the community to the progress of the little ones.
Keynote lectures, forums, roundtables, panels and workshops make up the program of activities of the international meeting conducive to the exchange of experiences and coordination of projects that contribute to the development of society.
The previous edition, held in 2014, brought together in Cuba over 300 delegates from 19 countries. (acn)
