Screen shot 2015-06-18 at 7.51.15 AMHAVANA, June 15 (NNN-PRENSA LATINA)–The 1st International Colloquium for Historians will be held in Havana on June 25 and 26, an event in which specialists from eight countries have already confirmed their participation.

The Union of Cuban Historians is organzing the forum, which will be held at the San Geronimo de La Habana University College.

The specialists will debate topics related to current problems on how to write and tell the events on history, and their vision on the current problems in Latin America, Cuba and the rest of the world.

Other debates will be around the history of the independence of the Latin American countries, the revolutions, technology, environment, theoretical items, methodology, and teaching of History in the different school levels.

Organizers said specialists from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Spain, US and Venezuela have confirmed their participation.–NNN-PRENSA LATINA
