Havana, Apr 30 (Prensa Latina) The Foreign Ministries of Cuba and Qatar celebrated their second political consulting round here today, in a meeting framed in the visit to Cuba by Qatari Foreign Affairs Minister Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi.
The Cuban Foreign Ministry said that the meeting was developed in a friendly environment, and during it, both parties ratified the good condition of their bilateral relations and their will to keep on strenghtening diplomatic, economic, commercial and cooperation links
Both parties discussed topics about the international political situation.
The second round of bilateral political consultations was presided over by Cuban Foreign Affairs First Vice Minister, Marcelino Medina, while Al Muraikhi did it by Qatar.
Medina thanked the Qatari minister for the support of his country in the resolution adopted since 1992 by the UN General Assembly to demand the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba.
