Cuba, France Strengthen Cooperation Ties

Havana, June 14 (Prensa Latina) The Government of Cuba and France have expressed on Friday in Havana the will to strengthen bilateral ties and cooperation in areas of common interest.

Marcelino Medina, Deputy Prime Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, welcomed the Secretary General of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, Maurice Gourdault-Montagne, at the Foreign Ministry’s headquarters.

Both personalities led an inter-Foreign Ministry meeting where the intention of the sides to work for strengthening the political talks was stressed.

We describe as positive the development of relations between Cuba and the European Union during the first year of the implementation of the Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement, Medina tweeted.
