MATANZAS, Aug 16 (NNN-Prensa Latina) — Cuban narrator and dramatist Ulises Rodriguez Febles considers cultural promotion as a compass to enrich human beings, and as “a guide to our future.”
“Promotion is unbelievably useful, in a time in which there is so much confusion. It is necessary to call the attention on the things that are worth, things that contribute to our welfare, the welfare of our peoples, Rodriguez Febles told Cuban website Mar Desnudo in an interview Monday.
The outstanding intellectual formulated these considerations after he received here the award La Aurora of Matanzas, which the Library Gener and Del Monte of this city grants annually, in a city distant 100 kilometers east of Havana.

Deserving the Distinction for the National culture, 48-year-old Rodríguez Febles, is also a radial scriptwriter, investigator, critic, and journalist.
