Havana, Feb 15 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on Monday called to transform world paradigms to implement globalization under criteria of justice and sustainability.
We expect the world to change after this pandemic, that structural transformations take place in the international economic system and that a new financial architecture develops, Rodriguez wrote on his Twitter account.
Another form of fairer and sustainable globalization is possible, he tweeted.
Recently, the head of Cuban diplomacy noted that the current economic and health crisis shows the urgency to deal with old asymmetries in world finance and trade, and the need to establish a fair and democratic international order.
He added that the prevailing inequalities and poverty in the countries of the South have worsened due to the unfair economic order in force, the proliferation of non-conventional wars, unilateral coercive measures and the developing countries’ foreign debt.
