Cuba announces new foreign investment project in Marina Hemingway

A Spanish group has been selected by the Cuban authorities to move to the final phase of an international tender process.
The same is composed of Meliá Hotels, Pisan Nautica, Insotel Marine, C4T and Studio 7 and has been chosen to develop a resort in the Marina Hemingway, west of Havana.
Directed mainly to European and American tourists, the project is valued at about 400 million euros, and includes the construction of two five-star hotels with about 500 rooms and 850 moorings for small and large boats, and an International Diving Center and the development of a high international standard marina.
