Havana, Jun 9 (Prensa Latina) Researchers with the Incubator project, the result of collaboration between the University of Havana and the German Humboldt University, presented innovative proposals with the possibility of successfully entering the Cuban market.
The seven papers are the result of three months of research work that resulted in the fourth round of the project, which was founded in 2015 with the aim of increasing the impact of scientific results on the Cuban economy and society, through links between the academy and the productive sector.
On this occasion, the studies were aimed at designing strategies for the efficient care and nutrition of plants; as well as the creation of consulting groups specialized in the diagnosis and integral management of pests in agriculture, quality management systems and geomarketing.
New products to be used in the field of health and cosmetology were also proposed: the TiSmart, a new type of dressing made of nanofibers that allows an intelligent healing of injuries in human tissue; and the Comboled, a device to treat acne and wrinkles with combined LED light.
In addition, the Cubacadémica platform was presented, whose objective is to promote, facilitate and manage the studies of German scholarship holders in Cuba.
