Catholic Bishops Send Condolences to Fidel Castro’s Family

Image result for cuban catholic churchHavana, Nov 29 (Prensa Latina) Cuba”s Catholic bishops today expressed their sadness at the death of the Cuban Revolution”s historic leader, Fidel Castro and sent condolences to his family and the country”s authorities.

‘From our faith, we entrust Doctor Fidel Castro to Jesus Christ and we ask the Lord not to disturb the coexistence among us Cubans,’ said the press statement signed by the General Secretariat of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of Cuba.

‘We, the men of the church entrust all Cubans to the protection of the Virgin de la Caridad del Cobre, patron saint of the country, in the hope that she will protect us and encourage us to act together to make real the dream for which José Martí gave his life – ‘A homeland with everybody and for the good of everybody.’
