Moscow, Mar 26 (Prensa Latina) The United Nations’ vote on the resolution against the United States blockade is approaching and Cuba needs our solidarity, activist Raisa Kazulina told the Russian channel Europe for Cuba, it was reported on Friday.
‘Now our presence is very important. Let us show the United States that Cuba is not alone,’ Kazulina, who is also a member of the Transnistrian Society of Friendship with Cuba, said to the virtual program coordinated by the Russian Committee for the elimination of the US blockade against Cuba.
In her call to participate in the International Caravan of Solidarity with Cuba, she noted that the initiative will take place on Saturday, March 27, and Sunday, March 28, and urged all people to take part and contribute to this fight.
The actions are planned in some 40 countries, announced the Europe for Cuba channel on YouTube, a platform for movements, associations and parties against the blockade against Cuba and promoters of this initiative in Europe.
‘On this day, participants can simply upload a photo on the Internet accompanying it with slogans: Cuba is not alone!, We are with you, Cuba!, Down with the criminal genocidal blockade against Cuba!,’ said Kazulina said, who reiterated her request to support Cuba.
The activist stressed that despite the adverse conditions caused by the US economic, commercial and financial blockade, Cuba ‘develops and finds forces to help other countries, even much larger and richer, in emergencies such as the one caused by Covid-19.’
