Aviation Silver Airways partners with Cuba Travel Network

Cuba Travel Network and Silver Airways launched a partnership to offer a one-stop booking platform for individual travel to Cuba.

Through www.silverairways.com/cubatravelnetwork, travelers can access flights and hotels, book customized travel itineraries, make online payments and receive assistance from Cuba Travel Network’s 60-plus staff members.

The booking process complies with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations; during the online booking process, U.S. citizens are required to indicate the purpose of travel under one of the 12 categories of travel to Cuba identified by the OFAC.

According to Eddie Lubbers, CEO of Cuba Travel Network, “We want the visitor to experience Cuba as an individual traveler, meet the local people and experience the culture in all regions of Cuba.”

Silver Airways operates routes within Florida, between Florida and the Bahamas, and nine Cuba destinations beyond Havana from Fort Lauderdale: Santa Clara, Camagey, Cienfuegos, Holgun, Santiago, Cayo Coco, Varadero, Manzanillo and, starting later this year, Cayo Largo.
