AT&T’s Cricket Follows Boost to Cuba

imagesAT&T’s Cricket Wireless prepaid brand is expanding to Cuba.

According to a press release, Cricket International Cuba is a new feature offering 15 minutes of calls to Cuba from the US for $15 per month. And customers with family and friends in Brazil, Singapore or Nigeria – in addition to the existing 35 countries – can now reach out to their family and friends for $5 to $15 per month as part of the Cricket International and Cricket International Extra features.

The Cuba calling add-on feature is available to customers on Cricket’s $50 and $60 plans.

In addition to Cuba, Cricket is introducing three new countries – Brazil, Singapore, and Nigeria –to its various international calling packages.

Cricket’s addition of Cuba follows on an offer launched by Sprint’s Boost prepaid brand back in April.

Boost’s “Cuba Monthly Connect” plan includes unlimited talk, text and data with 15 minutes per month of voice calling to Cuba and unlimited international texting from anywhere in the United States.

MetroPCS has also added Cuba to it’s “World Calling” add-on.
