American Delegation of Senior Business Executives Will Visit Cuba

A delegation of 30 senior business executives and investors will be visiting Cuba as part of the inaugural “Knowledge Mission” starting on November 16.

Organized by [email protected] – the online business analysis journal of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania – and Momentum, in collaboration with OnCuba, the 4-day mission will explore opportunities for U.S. investment.

The organizers are the same group of people behind important conferences such as the Cuba Opportunity Summit, the U.S.-Cuba Corporate Counsel Summit and the Cuba Infrastructure, Finance and Investment Summit.

“We are very excited to be leading this first of many delegations of senior business executives to Havana to assess the opportunities with their own eyes and experiences,” said Executive Director/Editor-in-Chief of [email protected], Mukul Pandya.

Co-Founder/Co-CEO of Momentum Ben Greenzweig said: “We’re excited to once again play a small role in the ongoing relationship between the US and Cuba as both nations strive towards normalized relations.

“As a young, entrepreneurial American start-up focused on original content development and networking, we feel that providing our community of executives and investors with on the ground experiences in Cuba is the most valuable form of content and networking.”

“This is a very important group of business people, who are eager to learn first-hand what is happening in Cuba, and are looking forward to getting in touch with the Cuban people and state officials,” said CEO of Fuego Enterprises and Editor in Chief of OnCuba, Hugo Cancio.

“I’m very glad to be travelling with these successful business people and with my colleagues of Wharton and Momentum,” added Cancio, who was a feature speaker at the inaugural Cuba Opportunity Summit.
